Graniverse is a marketplace for the prompts behind AI-made work. This page says plainly what we collect, why, who helps us run the service, and what you can do about it. Graniverse is run by Jahgrant Aiyedun.

1. What we collect

  • Your Google account basics when you sign in: your name, email address and Google account ID. We never see your Google password.
  • Your profile: the nickname, bio and avatar you choose.
  • Your transaction PIN, stored only as a one-way hash. Nobody at Graniverse can read it.
  • What you publish: your files, titles, descriptions, tags, domain, purpose, prices and the prompts you sell.
  • What you do on Graniverse: likes, saves, follows, Portals you hide, your cart, your Starboards, and your purchases with their access dates.
  • If you use granilens, what you choose to lens (see granilens below).
  • If you sell: your payout country, legal name, email and optional business name. Bank or Payoneer details are entered with our payments partner, never with us.
  • Feedback you send us, including the optional survey when you delete your account.
  • Product analytics: which features are used (for example, that a Starboard was saved), tied to a random browser ID or your account. Never what you type.
  • Basic technical data: a hashed version of your IP address for abuse limits, and the cookies that keep you signed in.

2. How we use it

  • To run your account and show your public profile and Portals.
  • To deliver what you buy: a Portal's paid content is only ever sent to its creator and to people whose access is active.
  • To pay creators, keep earnings records and stop fraud.
  • To help people find work: search and Starboard use public details only (titles, descriptions, tags, domain, purpose and tags we create from a Portal's cover image).
  • To keep Graniverse safe: rate limits, reports and reviews.
  • To improve the product from analytics and feedback.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.

3. AI features

Some features use Grani AI, Graniverse's AI, which runs on Claude, an AI model from Anthropic. When a Portal is published, Grani AI looks at its cover image to suggest search tags. When you use Starboard, your message is sent to Grani AI to understand what you're looking for and to rank matching public Portals.

The prompts creators sell are never sent to AI models and never used for search or recommendations.

4. granilens (Chrome extension)

granilens is Graniverse's extension for Chrome. You point it at an AI image or video on a website, and it works out how the piece was probably made. It only does anything when you use it:

  • What it captures: only after you turn the lens on and click an image or video (or drag over a part of the page), granilens takes a screenshot of that piece as it shows in your tab: up to 8 frames for a video, plus one full-resolution frame or a zoomed crop of the most detailed part. It never records in the background.
  • Reading the original file: when the page allows it, granilens also reads the original file of the piece you clicked, only to find creation details the file itself may carry, such as the prompt, model, seed or settings its maker's tool wrote into it, or Content Credentials. The file is read once for those details and is not stored.
  • What it sends: those frames, plus the page's address, title and description, the caption near the piece, and the poster's handle if the page shows it. They go to Graniverse over an encrypted connection, and Graniverse has them read by Grani AI (which runs on Claude, Anthropic's AI model) to work out how the piece was probably made.
  • What we keep: the read-out (the likely tool, the rebuilt prompt, the look, settings and steps), a small thumbnail, and the source address and site, saved as a lensed Portal in your account. The full frames are not stored. Thumbnails sit in private storage that only your account can read.
  • Who can see it: your lensed Portals are private to you. They are never shown publicly or to other people.
  • On your computer: your sign-in and your last 30 lenses (thumbnails and read-outs) are kept in Chrome's storage for the extension.
  • Sign-in: Google, through your Graniverse account (your email address and account ID). When you click See more on granilens on a Portal you unlocked, the page hands granilens a one-time sign-in code so you don't sign in twice. The code works once, expires quickly and is never shown or stored.
  • Permissions it asks for: the tab you click on; access to all websites only if you choose "Turn on the lens" in its panel; Chrome's side panel; storage; and Google sign-in.

granilens never captures anything on Graniverse itself; on a Portal you unlocked, See more on granilens opens that Portal in granilens instead. What it captures isn't used for advertising and isn't sold. Deleting your Graniverse account deletes your lensed Portals and their thumbnails.

5. Who helps us run Graniverse

We use a few trusted providers, who process data only to provide their service to us:

  • Supabase: database, sign-in and file storage.
  • Vercel: hosting.
  • Google: sign-in.
  • Anthropic: the AI features above.
  • Paddle: payments and creator payouts, once live payments start. Until then, checkout runs in a test mode and no money moves.

6. What others can see

Your nickname, bio, avatar, the Portals you publish, their like counts and who you follow are public. Your email, purchases, lensed Portals, likes, saves, cart, Starboards, payout details and earnings are private to you. Creators see their sales, never who bought. We never show how many people bought a Portal.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is open. When you delete your account, your profile, Portals, lensed Portals, likes, saves, follows, Starboards, PIN and payout setup are removed. Records of purchases and earnings are kept without your name, because we have to keep them for accounting and tax. People who already bought one of your Portals keep access until their 30 days end.

8. Your choices and rights

  • Download your data any time from Settings.
  • Edit your profile, or delete your account, from Settings.
  • Ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or object to how we use it, by emailing us.

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, the UK GDPR or US state privacy laws such as California's CCPA), you may have further rights, including complaining to your local data protection authority.

9. Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Access rules in the database decide who can read what, so paid content and private lists stay private even if someone tampers with the app. Moving money always needs your PIN, never just a signed-in session.

10. Children

Graniverse isn't for anyone under 13, or under the minimum age for online services where you live. Selling and payouts require you to be an adult.

11. Changes and contact

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect.
